Guwahati: Dr. Abhijit Sarma, the superintendent of the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Guwahati has received the White Knight award.
The GMCH superintendent received the renowned prize for his contributions to the healthcare and medical industries.
Dr. Sarma received the coveted prize from the healthcare organisation “Metropolis Foundation” for his outstanding services.
It should be noted that Dr. Sarma serves as the superintendent and associate professor of surgery at GMCH.
He previously contracted Covid-19 three times due to his continual presence and unrelenting efforts at the frontline of the virus’s struggle.
