Guwahati: In a tragic incident, a youth from Assam was recovered dead in Andhra Pradesh, officials informed on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Dipul Kalita, a resident of Geleki village near Kaziranga in the Golaghat district of Assam.
According to officials, the incident was reported from Vijaywada in Andhra Pradesh.
Police informed that the deceased’s body was recovered with significant damage and missing pieces. They suspect that the victim was trapped by human organ traffickers.
The eyes and kidney were reportedly gone from the victim, and investigators suspect that organ traffickers were responsible.
It should be noted that the victim Kalita had left for Andhra Pradesh on August 10.
