Guwahati: In a shocking incident, a foster son allegedly killed his mother in Hailakandi district of Assam on Thursday.
The incident was reported in Toll Road area of the district.
According to reports, the accused identified as Tridip Debroy, strangled his mother to death using a rope.
The victim has been identified as Joyshree Debroy
The reason behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.
The accused has been arrested by Hilakandi Police in connection to the case.
