Guwahati: India reported 5,221 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) the country’s active caseload is down to 47,176.
According to reports, a total of 1,84,965 tests completed in the previous 24 hours revealed the additional instances, bringing the overall amount to 88.95 crores.
The total number of deaths caused by COVID-19 in India has now reached 5,28,165.
Additionally, 5,975 Covid-19 recoveries from India were noted in the previous day, bringing the total to 4,39,25,239.
Notably, the percentage of active cases is currently 0.11 percent, and the recovery rate is 98.71 percent. The weekly positivity rate is 1.72%, and the daily positivity rate is 2.82%.
As part of the statewide vaccination effort, the nation has now received 215.26 crore doses while 30,76,305 doses were distributed in the last 24 hours.
