Assam Police Raids Victor Das’ Home in Hajo

Guwahati: Assam Police raided Victor Das’ residence in Dadara Village of Hajo of the Kamrup district on Sunday evening.

According to Das’ relative, the police took his laptop.

The relative explained, “His mother’s health has declined since his arrest, and it hasn’t been long since his father passed away. To save him, she has to run from place to place.”

He recently told the authorities about intermediaries that provide jobs in exchange for very large sums of money. Arresting him is not warranted.

Victor’s mother stated, “There is evidence that job broking is taking place throughout the state,” following the Dispur Police’s arrest on Monday morning. Brokers are brokers, whether they work for water resources or another department.

She added, “Victor was talking about these brokers.

She also urged his son to avoid getting engaged in cases of this nature in the future.

Notably, seven traders were detained earlier today in Guwahati for reportedly promising cash in exchange for jobs with the department of water resources.
