T20 World Cup Squad Against Australia & South Africa Announced

Guwahati: India will have a potent bowling team to compete against Australia and South Africa in the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup with the return of Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel.

The All-India Senior Selection Committee convened on Monday to choose India’s teams for the domestic T20I series against Australia and South Africa as well as the T20 World Cup in Australia.

Mohammed Shami and Deepak Chahar, two pacers, are also on the rosters for the two domestic series in addition to being standby players for the T20 World Cup.

ICC T20 World Cup will take place this year from October 16 to November 13.

Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep Singh, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be required to report to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for conditioning-related activities during the home series against Australia and South Africa.

India will host a three-match T20I series against Australia from September 20 to September 25. India will host a three-match T20I and an equal number of ODI series with South Africa from September 28 to October 11.
