Guwahati: As many as 11 people have been killed and several others sustained injuries in a tragic road accident that occurred in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
As per reports, a minibus carrying passengers met with an accident which took place at Sawjian in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
In addition to the 11 fatalities, the significant disaster also resulted in 25 other injuries. According to Mandi Tehsildar Shehzad Latif, the injured were taken by ambulance to the hospital in Mandi, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
Reportedly, the minibus was travelling from Sawjian to Mandi.
Meantime, rescue activities are now being carried there by Indian Army troops.
