Pakistani Boat Carrying With 40 Kg Drugs Worth Rs 200 Crores Caught Off Gujarat Coast

Guwahati: A joint operation on Wednesday morning resulted in the capture of a Pakistani boat off the coast of Gujarat that was transporting massive amounts of drugs.

According to reports, the joint operation was carried out by the Indian Coast Guard and the Gujarat Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS).

During the raid, narcotics weighing about 40 kilogrammes and estimated to be valued about Rs 200 crores were seized.

According to representatives of the Indian Coast Guard, the Pakistani boat was intercepted six kilometres inside Indian waters.

They claimed that a Pakistani boat had been captured 33 nautical miles off the Gujarati coast by two ICG quick attack boats.

Officials reported that the boat’s crews, who are all citizens of Pakistan, are being transported to Jakhau for additional inquiry.
