Guwahati: Assam Police on Sunday arrested six persons and seized huge amount of cannabis in Hojai district.
According to reports, the cannabis was seized from a southbound passenger train.
Reportedly, cannabis weighing 45kg was seized by Hojai police from the passenger train.
The arrested six smugglers have been identified as identified as Parimal Sarkar, Narottam Das, Haradhan Debnath, Krishna Sikari and Samiran Das.
