Guwahati: In a tragic incident, at least three labourers were killed and several others critically injured following a gas leak at a coal mine in Tinsukia district of Assam on Sunday night.
The incident was reported at a coal mine site near Congress field.
The deceased have been identified as Sahidul Islam, Hussain Ali and Aasmat Ali.
Meanwhile, the families of the victims alleged that the owner of the coal mine buried the bodies using a JCB in the middle of the night to conceal the incident.
Reports stated that the police have not yet arrived at the location to begin an investigation.
