Guwahati: Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi has once more been suspended from the final day of the current Assam Assembly session on Monday.
He was suspended due to his comments regarding the medium policy debate.
Gogoi protested to the medium policy issue and went over the allotted time set Speaker of the Assembly, Biswajit Daimary. He protested while he was asked to sit by the Speaker for which he was later suspended.
Gogoi added that the National Education Policy had been misconstrued by the government.
Moreover, he also claimed that the Education Minister misunderstood NEP.
