Assam CM Sarma Inaugurates Radiation Therapy Unit at GHCH
Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated Guwahati Health City Hospital’s second radiation therapy centre, on Saturday.
The health minister Keshab Mahanta accompanied the chief minister .
Reportedly, the Health City Hospital gave Rs. 5 lakhs to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
“This equipment will benefit cancer patients,” CM Sarma stated during the opening ceremony. He further said, “Many people have benefited from Prime Minister’s Ayushman Bharat. And government will provide Rs 5 lakh health insurance to families receiving free rice.”
“Many people will benefit if Bonmaro Transplant can be provided,” he added.
CM Sarma stated, “State government ministers, officers, and staff would stay in Kaziranga for the next three days,” in reference to the three-day Chintan Sibir. Chintan Sibir, which will take place in Kaziranga, will be attended by everyone.
