Guwahati: The people of Jammu and Kashmir have been horrified by a mysterious twin bus explosion that occured within the last 24 hours.
A bus was struck by an explosion in Udhampur of Jammu and Kashmir. There had been two explosions in the last eight hours in the district.
The second explosion occured in a bus at Domail Chowk at 10:45 p.m. A blast that occurred earlier on Wednesday night in an empty bus that was parked at a gas station in Udhampur which left two persons injured.
The incident took place at Domail Chowk in the Udhampur district at about 10:30 pm close to a gas station. The explosion also caused damage to surrounding parked vehicles. They were sent to the Udhampur District Hospital after they were injured. Soon after the incident, police and security workers flocked to the area. The inquiry is in progress.
“The blast occurred around 10:30 pm. Two people have been injured in the incident and vehicles parked nearby have also suffered damage. The reason for the blast is still not known. We are investigating the matter,” said Suleman Choudhary, DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range.
