PM Modi to Launch 36th National Games in Ahmedabad
Guwahati: The 36th National Games will be officially launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday during a lavish Opening Ceremony that will take place at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad.
The Prime Minister will also address competitors in the National Games from all throughout the nation. The Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports Anurag Thakur and other dignitaries will also attend the opening ceremony.

Really looking forward to the 36th National Games’ opening ceremony, which will be held here on the TCM platform for the Sports Authority and honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be there. The national games are being held in Gujarat for the first time ever. It will take place from September 29 through October 12, 2022. The largest National Games ever will take place with about 15,000 athletes, coaches and officials competing in 36 sports disciplines from throughout the nation.

The sporting events will be organised in six cities of Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot and Bhavnagar.
