Guwahati: The Officer in Charge (OC) of the Dhula Police Station in Darrang district of Assam has been suspended with immediate effect on Saturday.
The suspended OC has been identified as Nitai Chandra Roy.
His suspension was imposed after he was accused of abusing his authority and violating some norms.
Severe measures were implemented after allegations against the cop surfaced.
