Guwahati: Three persons were tragically killed in a road accident on NH-37 in Kamrup Metro district of Assam on Thursday night.
The incident was reported from Nazirakhat area near Sonapur, roughly 25kms from Guwahati city.
According to reports, the accident took place after their vehicle crashed into a parked truck on the road side.
According to the police, a speeding car from Assam was travelling towards Guwahati when it collided with a parked truck on the NH-37, instantly killing three people, including the car’s driver.
Local police reached on the scene soon after the tragedy and sent the bodies for an post mortem.
