Guwahati: The president of India Droupadi Murmu will visit Guwahati on Thursday and take part in a number of events.
The President will visit Assam for two days and is scheduled to land at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati (LGBIA).
President Murmu will take part in a number of events throughout her visit. She would first attend an event and then head to IIT Guwahati in the afternoon.
After that, she will fly to Dhubri to officially open the medical college there. She will next travel to Agyathuri to open the new railroad station.
Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, and Union minister Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar will accompany President Murmu.
