Bengaluru: 25th National Council Meet of AIFDE
Guwahati: The All India Federation of Diploma Engineers an apex body of Diploma Engineers organisations in India and a constituent entity of the SAARC Diploma Engineers Forum conducted its 25th National Council Meeting at Engineer Bhawan of the Karnataka Engineering Service Association.
More than 4 lac diploma engineers working for Central, State, and their subsidiary departments nationwide are members of the Federation which is an umbrella organisation.
The house established an election committee, with Er. FC Jain and Er. RK Rawat serving as the committee’s chairman and associate election officer, respectively. The house unanimously chose Er Manamohan Rajbongshi as secretary general and Er SN Hugar as president for the 2022–2024 term of the Central Executive Committee, which consists of 20 members.
The 25th National Council Meeting adopted several significant Resolutions, including raising the minimum academic requirement for admission to polytechnic diploma engineering programmes from 10th to 10+2 (Science), encouraging the best work environment for nation-building among engineers, appointing a technical commission, and encouraging the exchange of technical knowledge and expertise as well as the spirit of applications, ideas, skill, and experience.
