Guwahati: Yet another instance of terror funding through the supply of party pills has surfaced, with the seizure of huge consignment of narcotic tablets by police in Dhubri of Assam on Saturday.
One person has been arrested in connection to the seizure.
Acting on a tip-off, police officials from Dhubri’s B N College Nagar conducted a search operation during which the accused was apprehended.
The arrested individual was identified as Abdul Karim Bepari. He is a resident of Tamarhat in Assam’s Dhubri.
It needs to be noted that he has been charged with smuggling and is being interrogated for more information.
