Guwahati: A worker at Fatemabad Tea Garden in Assam’s Baksa district suffered serious injuries after getting his leg caught in the CTC machine on Sunday.
The injured is identified as Suleman Kerketta who broke his leg after being hit by the machine.
Following the accident, Kerketta was immediately rushed to the Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital in critical condition.

A woman was injured in the month of July while working at the Lepetkatta tea factory in Dibrugarh when her hair became tangled in the CTC machine.
The patient was taken urgently to Assam Medical College and Hospital for treatment but the hospital’s staff recommended Guwahati Medical College and Hospital instead (GMCH).
