Guwahati: In a tragic incident, a cricket fan from Assam died after being ill while watching the ICC T20 World Cup.
The incident took place in Sivasagar district of Assam on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Bitu Gogoi.
Gogoi was watching the match at Bhaskar Jyoti Cinema Hall in Bhatiapar of the district.
Gogoi collapsed while watching the match. He died while being taken to Sivsagar hospital.
