Guwahati: In a shocking incident, five youths including a girl injected drugs into their bodies while hiding under a store’s roof due to rain during Diwali in Guwahati on Monday evening.
The incident was recorded by the shop’s CCTV camera, which was off duty at the time.
The incident allegedly took place at Sewali Path in Hatigaon.
Youths were observed helping each other to inject drugs into each other’s bodies in the CCTV clip.
Due to cyclone Sitrang, Guwahati and parts of Assam is witnessing light showers. However, it did not deter drug users from finding refuge on the side of the road so they could inject drugs.
