Guwahati: In a tragic incident reported from Hailakandi district of Assam, four persons died while they were cleaning a well on Saturday.
The incident took at Algapur in Anuwarpar village.
The deceased identified as Rashid Ahmed, Najim Uddin, Abu Chuhel and Taslib Uddin.
The bodies of the deceased have been recovered by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF).
According to reports, another person has been evacuated from the well.
The rescued person has been identified as Hasib Uddin.
However, he has been critically injured and is currently undergoing treatment at the Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH).
