Guwahati: The power supply to former Assam Chief Minister Prafulla Kumar Mahanta’s official residence was cut off on Wednesday
There have been complaints of power outages at the former government MLA houses at Dispur in Guwahati.
Along with the electrical connection, the government-provided house today also lost its water connection.
Additionally, it is said that they have been invited to move into Houses 5 and 6 of the new apartment complexes.
It may be noted that the former Assam CM had received numerous orders to leave the area. However, as their instructions had gone unheeded for the previous six months, the MLA residential premises’ administrators had no choice but to act.
