Ex-Pak PM Imran Khan Shot In Leg During Suspected Assassination Bid
Guwahati: Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan reportedly had a bullet lodged in his leg during a rally in the capital city of Islamabad on Thursday.
Initial indications indicate that he has been injured, with local media saying he has been shot in the leg.
According to reports, Imran Khan was struck in the leg and four other persons were injured.
The injured persons are said to be confidantes of Khan which include the former PM’s manager Rashid and former Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail.
Fireworks were allegedly used as cover by the shooters when they started shooting. He is currently in custody.
