Guwahati: Renowned Assamese actor Bhola Kataki passed away at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Friday.
He breathed his last at around 2:15 pm.
Kataki had been receiving care at the GMCH for a while.
Bhola Kataki, a renowned stage and screen actor, was born in 1932. Additionally, he played a significant role in the state’s theatres.
His career-defining movies include “Anirban,” “Jolanjoli,” and “Raja,” among others.
Additionally, Kataki has received the Natasurya Phani Sarma Award.
