Guwahati: In a tragic incident, seven women were killed and six others were severely injured in a road accident in Bidar of Karnataka on Saturday.
The tragedy took place near the Bemalkheda village.
According to reports, the accident occurred between a truck and an auto rickshaw.
Reportedly, the women labourers, who hailed from Budamanahalli village, were returning back to their homes after work when the accident took place.
Moreover, the injured have been shifted to the Bidar Hospital.
The police further said that the incident has been registered in Bemalkheda police station.
