Guwahati: Two minor boys were rescued from Karbi Anglong by the Assam Police who were allegedly kidnapped from their house in Nagaon.
According to reports, the boys were brothers and their father reported them missing to Batadrava Police station on Friday.
The boys were playing in front of the house when they were taken on Thursday.
Their father mentioned a woman in the complaint and the police were able to find her with the help of her mobile phone’s tower location.
The two boys were rescued from the Diphu bus terminal after her location in Karbi Anglong was confirmed. The police reported that they had carried out a joint operation with Karbi Anglong police.
In connection with the crime, two people including a lady have been arrested after confessing to the same.
