Guwahati: Manipur’s draft photo electoral rolls for all 60 assembly constituencies were published on Wednesday.
Chief electoral officer (CEO) of Manipur Rajesh Agrawal declared that members of the public, voters, and representatives of political parties were allowed to examine or confirm the records.
A total of 20,43,156 voters were required to be listed on the draught electoral rolls, including 207 transgender people and 9,88,704 male and 10,54,245 female voters.
There are 2955 polling places in Manipur as a whole.
Manipur CEO Rajesh Agarwal met with leaders of the state’s major parties and gave them the draught electoral rolls.
