PM Modi: ‘India Achieving New Milestones While World Faces Crisis’
Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that the country is setting new records in a number of sectors and writing history as the world is going through a crisis, underscoring the fact that India has become a focal point for implementing innovative ideas and pursuing development at a breakneck pace.
“Projects pertaining to connectivity, oil and gas sector being launched in Visakhapatnam today, will give a fillip to Andhra Pradesh’s growth,” the Prime Minister said as he launched multiple development projects in Visakhapatnam.
According to PM Modi, the ambitions of Andhra Pradesh and Visakhapatnam will be realised through the groundbreaking and inauguration of projects worth more than Rs 10,000 crore.
The prime minister acknowledged that Visakhapatnam is a very special city and expressed his happiness at dedicating a number of projects to the development of Andhra Pradesh.
“An important port in ancient India was Visakhapatnam. The world was traversed through this trade. Visakhapatnam continues to be the hub of Indian trade. When it came to bridging India and the outside world, Visakhapatnam was crucial. The ports of Visakhapatnam served as a hub for Indian trade from West Asia to Rome “he said.
According to PM Modi, while some nations are experiencing an economic crisis, India is expanding.
“India is setting new records and writing history at a time when the rest of the world is in crisis. Our development is being seen by everyone. The government’s programmes all have the wellbeing of the average person at their core “PM Modi added.
The Prime Minister added that the BJP government’s initiatives and policies are intended to raise the standard of living for its citizens.
“With the release of Azadi Ka Amrit Kaal, India is making progress. Growth that is inclusive is our goal. We never discussed the issue of whether we should build a railroad or a road. The supply chain and logistical costs were affected, and the country suffered as a result of an isolated view of infrastructure, the prime minister stated.
“We have prioritised a holistic perspective on development. Every city will use a multi-model transportation system in the future, and Visakhapatnam has already made progress in that direction.
Whether it be in the fields of business, technology, or medicine, he claimed that Andhra Pradesh’s residents had made major contributions in all of them.
“India has emerged as a hub for innovative concepts, fresh approaches, and quick development. It is now achievable since India works to improve people’s lives with every decision made, keeping in mind their goals ” he added.
He added that the government is placing a high priority on growing its blue economy.
“The nation is currently working very hard to realise the endless opportunities connected to the blue economy. We have significantly increased opportunities in India’s blue sector through port-led development “The PM said.
He claimed that the fundamental goal of all government actions is the wellbeing of the average person.
“Our initiatives are creating new chances for kids. Every industry is having a chance to flourish, from drones to gaming, from startups to space “PM Modi stated.
The supply chain and logistics, according to the prime minister, are dependent on multimodal connectivity, so the government adopted a novel strategy to build New India’s infrastructure. He continued, “We prioritised an integrated picture of Vikas.
He claimed that the economic corridor that is being launched today will be effective in order to increase multimodal connectivity and stimulate trade and manufacturing in Andhra Pradesh.
“By enhancing multimodal connectivity, the economic corridor being unveiled today would increase trade and manufacturing in Andhra Pradesh. With the completion of these new infrastructural development projects, Andhra Pradesh’s coastal regions will now enjoy rapid growth “PM Modi stated.
He added that the BJP is committed to helping the country’s underdeveloped districts develop through a number of programmes and initiatives.
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy were also present on the occasion.
