70 Fresh Dengue Cases in Assam
Guwahati: Assam has registered 70 fresh dengue cases on Saturday.
With this, the state’s overall positive case count has increased to 796.
55 cases from the worst-affected Karbi Anglong district were among the positive cases.
Eight cases in the Kamrup Metropolitan district come after it.
Meanwhile, the districts of Bongaigaon and Jorhat each recorded two instances.
Each of the districts of Tinsukia, Cachar, and Dima Hasao reported one positive case.
Earlier today, the Cachar district reported the first-ever dengue case. The person belonging to Chibita Bichia was infected by the disease after he returned back from Bangalore.
