Guwahati: An encounter broke out between security forces and unidentified ultras in Tinsukia district of Assam on Monday.
The incident took place at Pengeri.
As a result, the Digboi-Pengeri road has been temporarily shut down for security concerns.
According to reports, the firing between both the sides started after a grenade blast in the vicinity.
No injuries or casualties were reported at the time this report was submitted.
The identities of the said ultras are yet to be established.
