Guwahati: In a tragic incident, a jawan deployed in the Border Security Force (BSF) died in a road accident in Bajali district of Assam on Monday morning.
The accident occurred on a flyover at National Highway no. 27.
The deceased jawan has been identified as Bipul Sargwary.
According to reports, jawan was on a bike and was allegedly hit by a speeding truck, resulting in him dying on the spot.
Meanwhile, the driver of the truck has been arrested by local police.
It needs to be mentioned that a case has also been lodged against him.
