Guwahati: The Indian Yoga Practice Center and Yoga Therapy Centre, a renowned yoga school in Northeast India, will celebrate the 16th Assam Yoga Mahotsav from December 12, 2022 to January 10, 2023.
The Inauguration Ceremony will begin at the District Library in Guwahati at 11:00 am.
The event will feature mass yoga and meditation sessions, a yoga rally, a three-day workshop on naturopathy in partnership with the Mahapurash R Srimanta Sankardev Viswabidyalaya, yoga prerana sibir in partnership with the IGP jails of seven districts, a blood donation camp in partnership with the Blood Bank, GMCH, yoga street drama, a three-day workshop on yoga therapy and massage at the Yoga Tirtha Maligion, and a government.
Presentation of the esteemed Swami Shivananda Saraswati Yoga Prerana Award 2022, as well as the customary evening “Yoga Sandhya,” Yoga Quiz, Extempore Talk on Yoga, Yoga Conclave, Inter Yoga Mahavidyalaya Group Yogasana Competition, and other activities.
The closing ceremony will take place at Shivananda Yogasharm in Kolkata on January 10, 2023.
