Guwahati: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha inaugurated a Farmers Knowledge Center and a 1,000-ton capacity rice godown at Ganda Twisa on Wednesday.
The Dhalai district has jurisdiction over Ganda Twisa.
According to chief minister Saha, a large number of farmers are anticipated to gain from this godown. In Tripura, farming is a primary source of income for a sizable portion of the people most of whom grow paddy.
This new godown will aid surrounding farmers in improved market realisation and storage of their produce.
