Guwahati: In an unfortunate incident, at least two persons lost their life after they met with a road accident in Tezpur of Assam on Monday night.
The accident occurred after the bike bearing registration number AS12 S 0861 collided with a truck at Niz Bihaguri.
The deceased identified as Biju Singh and Suman Talukdar.
After receiving the information, police officials arrived at the spot and seized the truck and the bike.
Another accident also occurred on the same place in Nagaon district of Assam where five persons were killed on spot.
The incident reportedly occurred at Koliabor in the Hatiekhua area on National Highway-37.
Reportedly, the five were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a car.
Reports further stated that the vehicle was heading from Bokakhat towards the Tezpur side when the tragedly took place.
The deceased persons were identified as Bibek Das, Sanjay Das, Sameer Paul, Vikash Sarma and Sandeep Paul.
The police have reached the spot and started to investigate the matter.
