3 Held For Paying Money To ULFA-I In Assam

Guwahati: Three people have been arrested on suspicion of providing financial support to the United Liberation Front of Assam-Independent (ULFA-I) in Sonari of Assam.

The three accused identified as Manohar Thakur, Lalabahadur Thakur and Kader Shah.

According to reports, all of them were arrested by the Namtola Police on Friday.

The three accused were businessmen from Namtola on the Assam-Nagaland border.

A linkman for the ULFA-I was arrested by Assam Police a few days ago in the Jorhat district.

The linkman who was apprehended is accused of aiding ULFA-I terrorists in their ambush attack on the Indian Army.
