External Affairs Minister Arrives on a 3-Day Visit to Manipur

Guwahati: The minister of external affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar visited Ima Market in Imphal, Manipur on Sunday.

Jaishankar will be in the northeastern state of Manipur for three days from November 26.

The Union Minister stated that Manipur state has been having issues as a result of the unrest in neighbouring Myanmar while attending an engagement session on Indian foreign policy on Saturday in Imphal, Manipur.

According to Dr. S. Jaishankar, the central government is working to develop infrastructure and connectivity in the Northeast.

Jaishankar tweeted, “Assured that we are working to strengthen connection within the Northeast and to the wider globe; and broaden its access to global markets and workplace,” emphasising how crucial it is to do so since it will serve as a gateway to the rest of the world.

Jaishankar attended an interactive programme on Saturday night at Classic Grande while he was in Imphal, the capital of Manipur.

According to External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, the G20 presidency of India would be commemorated across the nation including Manipur.
