Guwahati: In a major drug haul, two suspected drug peddlers have been arrested on charges of possessing 600 grams ganja from Guwahati.
Based on the information, a team of the East Guwahati Police Department carried out a vehicle check in the city and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number AS25-BC-7762 from the Beharbari area.
On search, police found 600 grams of ganja and arrested the peddlers.
The arrestees identified as Suren Hynary and Dinesh Daimary, both residents of Majbat, Udalguri.
Legal actions against the accused have been initiated.
