Assam CM: AIIMS Guwahati to be Inaugurated Next Year

Guwahati: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Changsari of Guwahati will be officially inaugurated next year.

This was announced by Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma while attending the Namghor Samaroh in North Guwahati on Sunday.

A number of forthcoming projects that would be inaugurated in Guwahati were also revealed by CM Sarma.

The chief minister said, “The AIIMS, Guwahati will be officially inaugurated in 2023.  Ten new high schools will be newly constructed in the Jalukbari constituency. Model schools will also be constructed at Changsari and Rangmahal.”

T Himanta Biswa Sarma also informed that the construction of the Palasbari-Sualkuchi Bridge will start the next year. Development on a new bridge will shortly begin at Saraighat.

Moreover, Chief Minister Sarma congratulated deserving children from the Jalukbari Assembly Constituency who passed in their Higher Secondary (HS) and High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exams last year.
