Guwahati: A young girl was found dead at her residence in Bhangagarh area of Guwahati late Monday night.
The deceased identified as Shreya Devi was a medical student studying in Orissa.
The girl was found dead inside her house hanging from the ceiling and it was suspected that she committed suicide.
The incident occurred at Silarai path in SBI colony area.
Meanwhile, local police reached the scene and recovered the body for post-mortem.
Police said that the deceased girl suffered from depression and committed the horrific act.
