Guwahati: The weekly Assam Cabinet meeting will be held at Gandhi Mandap in Guwahati on Wednesday.
The location has been prepared for the meeting which will begin at 4 pm.
To assess the level of preparedness for today’s meeting, the Chief Secretary PK Borthakur, GSCL MD Lakshmanan S, Kamrup (M) DC Pallav Gopal Jha and a number of other officials from the GMDA, GMC, PWD, City Police and various departments visited the location on December 4.
Last month, several Barak Valley development plans were announced during the cabinet meeting held in Cachar district.
At their recent meeting, the cabinet also approved three additional flyovers in Guwahati.
