Guwahati: Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar formally took charge as Chairman of the Rajya Sabha as the winter session of parliament began on Wednesday.
The current winter session which began today will continue till December 29.
The BJP-led administration intended to introduce 16 new measures during the session.
