2 Rifles, Live Rounds Recovered During Raid In Assam’s Bokajan

Guwahati: Bokajan police of Assam carried out a raid and seized two guns and live ammo on Thursday.

According to reports, the raid was conducted as a result of specific information obtained at Lalmati in Bokajan in the Karbi Anglong district of Assam.

Officials reported that two SBBL 32-pounder weapons and nine live rounds of ammunition were found during the raid.

According to the police, Bahadur Gurung’s home was the location of the raids that turned up the weapons and ammunition.

Officials went on to say that the Naga miscreant had retained the rifle and the bullets for hunting purposes.

Meanwhile, the Bokajan Police have launched an investigation into the case.
