Guwahati: One person has been killed after being hit by a speeding vehicle in Dhubri district of Assam on Saturday.
The incident took place at Chapar of the district.
The deceased has been identified as Pradip Sutradhar.
According to reports, Pradip was riding his bicycle when he was hit by a speeding Bolero pick up van.
Pradip died on-spot before he could be rushed to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the police have arrived at the scene and seized the vehicle which was involved in the accident.
