Guwahati: Two persons have been arrested for allegedly possessing illegal arm and ammunition from separate places in Karbi Anglong district of Assam.
This was informed by Karbi Anglong Police on December 15.
In the first incident, one .32 pistol was seized from a person in Dilaji near Diphu on the night of December 14 after which he was taken into custody.
In another separate case, 32 pistol and a few live rounds from another person has been recovered by the police.
The man was apprehended from Tarabasa in Dokmoka police station area, police said.
