Guwahati: Dr. Angkita Dutta, the president of the Assam Pradesh Congress Youth Committee has been removed from the post on Thursday.
The election process for the new president will reportedly begin tomorrow.
The reason behind her removal is yet to be known.
It should be mentioned that Dr. Dutta was appointed as the president last year. She is the daughter of the late Congress veteran Anjan Dutta.
She was called in by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in August in relation to the Saradha funding reported in the publication “Dainik Batori.”
