Guwahati: Assam defeated Hyderabad thanks in large part to the bat and ball play of Riyan Parag held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
Even though the Assamese team was down in the first innings of the match, they were still able to win. However, Assam was able to defeat Hyderabad thanks to a powerful comeback with the ball.
Assam defeated Hyderabad by 18 runs at the conclusion of the second innings after dismissing them for 231.
Riyan Parag’s explosive innings of 78 runs off of just 28 balls made the difference in the end. Eight fours and six sixes made up Parag’s inning, which came just when Assam needed him to perform with dignity.
Assam reached a total of 252 thanks to Parag’s knock, setting the bar for Hyderabad to win. However, Parag once more obstructed them with the ball, taking four wickets.
