Blood Donation Camp Organized By SSB Rangia In Assam

Guwahati: A voluntary blood donation camp was organised on Wednesday at Sector Headquarters SSB Rangia under the supervision and direction of Sh. Jagdeep Pal Singh, DIG SHQ SSB Rangia and in partnership with GMCH in Guwahati.

The purpose of the event was to maintain an adequate supply of blood in the GMCH, Guwahati Blood bank in preparation for the future G-20 summit that the Government of Assam plans to host beginning in February 2023.

This is the first blood donation campaign launched by the CaPF or other organisations associated with the G-20 summit that will be held in India. The Sector Headquarters SSB Rangia Officers/Officials donated 50 units of blood during the camp.

On the occasion Dr Aronima Goswami, Pathologist on the sidelines also interacted with the troops and gave a lecture on the campaign “Nasha Mukh Bharat Abhiyan”.

Officers, doctors, and staff members of the GMCH in Guwahati took the promise during the day as instructed by the Indian government on the occasion of the 13th National Voters’ Day.
