Seizures Worth Rs 30.71 Cr Made Ahead of Assembly Polls in Nagaland
Guwahati: In an ongoing drive ahead of the state assembly polls in Nagaland, the Enforcement Agencies of the state have made seizures worth Rs 30.71 crores.
This was informed by the Chief Electoral Officer of Nagaland on Tuesday.
The Nagaland Enforcement Agencies are executing normal seizures in each district of the state ahead of the Assembly elections, according to a statement from the Chief Electoral Officer.
As per the statement, the total seizure as on February 6, 2023 is approximately Rs 30.71 crores.
Cash, IMFL, drugs and other narcotics, other contraband, freebies and other items were also seized.
The Assembly Elections in Nagaland are slated to be held on February 27. The results will be declared on March 2.
